BPS Level A
Level A is, typically, the first stage in British Psychological Society accredited Psychometrics Training as it incorporates the BPS Test Administrator qualification.
This course is fundamental for anyone that wishes to use psychometric tests to improve their selection, development or careers counselling procedures. It covers the fundamentals of using psychometrics, including how to select the most appropriate test according to standardisation, reliability and validity, together with ensuring equal opportunities and data protection.
BPS Level A Certification enables you to purchase and use ability tests published by all reputable test publishers. It also enables you to enrol onto BPS Level B, which is essential if you wish to apply your knowledge and utilise personality psychometric tests.
The course combines interactive online theoretical work, where delegates receive individual professional tuition via telephone and email, with a 2-day practical workshop composed of a small group of delegates. This structure provides a highly accessible, efficient and economical method of learning.
