OPS is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of training in psychometric testing. We have access to all major personality and ability tests, but aren’t tied to any test publisher. This allows us to recommend tools purely on technical merit and relevance.

Most UK test publishers require test users to be registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Click here to access the BPS psychological testing website.

OPS provide training in all levels of BPS accreditation:

Test Administrator

Covers everything delegates need to know before they administer and score psychometric tests. This qualification does not provide the skills necessary to interpret test scores and feed them back to candidates.

Level A

For those who wish to interpret and feedback test results as well as administer and score tests. Training also covers the fundamentals of psychometric test use. The focus at this level is on ability tests.

Level B Intermediate

More commonly known as ‘Level B’, this is the next stage for those with Level A certification. Delegates get to grips with personality theory and become qualified to use a small selection of personality tests. They also choose one personality test in which to specialise.

Level B Intermediate Plus

Two-day test-specific training in which delegates add an additional personality instrument to their repertoire.

Level B Full

The highest level of certification in psychometrics. The two-day workshop and post course work covers deeper issues such as test construction and computer-based testing.

Online Training
We offer blended learning solutions to save our delegates time and money, enabling you to work at your own pace whilst receiving individual support from professional psychologists. For Levels A and B, delegates complete pre-coursework online, supplemented by a practical workshop to consolidate learning.
