Executive coaching is about looking to the future, helping managers and business leaders achieve their full potential. Senior executives often have little time for themselves in the workplace and can sometimes feel isolated within the organisation and an executive coach can become an objective ally, with no divided loyalties, who can assist senior executives to develop both personally and professionally.

OPS’ experienced coaches can help executives identify their leadership style, their development needs and help them resolve any work-related problems or concerns they may have. We can also provide coaching to enhance leadership skills or address remediation needs.

An executive coaching programme typically involves six or eight initial sessions, with access to psychometric tests of personality, aptitude, emotional intelligence or motivation, as appropriate. We often recommend 360˚ feedback as part of the process, both to benchmark performance and to encourage insight.

One-off executive coaching and psychological profiling sessions are also available. These last for most of a day and involve an in depth exploration of the individual’s aspirations, potential, behavioural and leadership style, interpersonal, decision-taking and communication skills, followed by a detailed report. Psychometrics may be used to aid the process, but each coaching programme is tailored to individual need.
