


Bernard is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and accredited Executive Coach. He has a background in HR Development consulting with experience as both an internal and external consultant. He provides a range of levels of consultancy, from individual leadership development and coaching, team facilitation to organisational systems such as talent and performance management. Prior to working as a Psychologist, Bernard held a number of HR Development roles within large organizations, in both the manufacturing and service sectors. He now works across all sectors, typically with senior managers and Directors, on both a team and individual basis. By combining his expertise in psychology and psychometrics with his extensive organisational experience, he can provide supportive but challenging facilitation, for either teams or individuals facing the challenge of change.
An acknowledged expert in the use of personality instruments such as the MBTI, Firo-B, Hogan Development Survey and 16PF, Bernard has both used these extensively in his consultancy work and trained coaches in their application in executive coaching. He co-authored the chapter on using the MBTI in coaching in the book Psychometrics in Coaching.
He holds an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching, has an MBA and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He is an accredited coach for Ashridge and having completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching Supervision at Oxford Brookes, he now supervises other coaches.
