Gavin Donaldson: Senior Psychologist & Director
Gavin Donaldson MSc: Gavin is a consultant psychologist at OPS and has a broad remit, managing our training activities as well as playing an important role in our consultancy projects.
Gavin started his career in psychometric test publishing and he continues to utilise and pass on his expert knowledge as the lead trainer of the Level-A and Level-B courses at OPS, primarily focusing on either emotional intelligence or personality. Gavin has a good working knowledge of most popular psychometrics for example the OPQ32, Saville Wave, 15FQ+, Hogan Series, EQ-i/EQ360, and MBTI.
Gavin has experience of managing, designing and implementing successful consultancy interventions at senior and board level across a broad range of public and private sector clients. Gavin’s areas of expertise cover:
- Team development for the NHS spanning Director, Consultant and Nursing levels
- One-to-one emotional intelligence based developmental coaching for public and private sector clients
- Executive coaching within the health sector
- Assessment/Development centre design for a range of public and private sector clients
- Psychometric assessment for development and selection to a broad variety of public and private sector
Outside of work Gavin will either be found mountain biking or somewhere in the countryside clay pigeon shooting.
